Prohibited Products and Services Policy

This Policy identifies products, services, and activities that may not be offered, sold, promoted, or facilitated through LocalFinda. LocalFinda may restrict additional categories where reasonably necessary for safety, legal, regulatory, payment, or marketplace integrity reasons.

 

  1. General Rule

Vendors may only list products and services that are lawful, authentic, safe, accurately described, and permitted under LocalFinda policies and applicable law. Vendors are responsible for determining whether their products or services require licenses, permits, certifications, age restrictions, or other authorization.

 

  1. Prohibited Categories
    • Illegal goods or services.
    • Stolen property or property the Vendor does not have the legal right to sell.
    • Counterfeit or unauthorized replica goods.
    • Fraudulent, deceptive, or intentionally misleading products or services.
    • Products or services that infringe another person’s intellectual property or other legal rights.
    • Products or services intended to facilitate fraud, identity theft, unauthorized access, or other unlawful activity.
    • Illegal drugs or controlled substances where sale is prohibited by law.
    • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and other restricted weapons or dangerous items except where expressly permitted by LocalFinda policy and applicable law.
    • Products containing hazardous, toxic, or otherwise prohibited substances where sale or distribution is restricted.
    • Adult sexual services, prostitution, or other illegal sexual services.
    • Financial scams, fraudulent investment opportunities, pyramid or unlawful Ponzi schemes, and similar deceptive financial activities.
    • Products or services requiring professional, regulatory, medical, financial, or other licensing where the Vendor cannot demonstrate the required authorization.
    • Unsafe, recalled, adulterated, expired, or otherwise unlawful products.
    • Products or services that LocalFinda’s payment providers prohibit from being processed through the Platform.
    • Any other category that LocalFinda determines presents an unreasonable legal, safety, fraud, regulatory, or reputational risk.

 

  1. Regulated Products and Services

Certain products or services may be legal but subject to special restrictions, licensing, age requirements, advertising rules, storage requirements, or other regulations. LocalFinda may permit, restrict, or prohibit such categories based on applicable law, payment provider requirements, operational capability, or marketplace risk.

 

  1. Vendor Responsibility

Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that their Listings comply with applicable laws and regulations. Listing a product or service on LocalFinda does not mean LocalFinda has confirmed that it is legal, safe, authentic, licensed, or suitable for every customer.

 

  1. LocalFinda Enforcement

LocalFinda may reject, remove, hide, restrict, or suspend Listings or Transactions that violate this Policy or that LocalFinda reasonably believes may create a legal, safety, payment, fraud, or marketplace risk.

LocalFinda may suspend or terminate a Vendor account where a Vendor repeatedly lists prohibited products or services, provides misleading information, fails required verification, or otherwise violates this Policy.

 

  1. Reports and Safety Concerns

Customers and Vendors may report suspected prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit, fraudulent, or unlawful Listings through LocalFinda’s available support channels. LocalFinda may investigate and take appropriate action.

 

  1. Policy Updates

LocalFinda may update this Policy as laws, regulations, payment provider requirements, marketplace risks, and LocalFinda’s business model evolve.
